Funeral services for Nellie May Tschopp of Oregon City will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Holman, Hankins, Bowker & Waud Funeral Home. Rev. Wesley Taylor will officiate. Burial will follow at Logan Pleasant View Cemetery.

Mrs. Tschopp, who was 78, passed away Tuesday at a local hospital. She was a native of Portland and was a lifetime resident of Oregon City. She was a member of the Oregon City Elks auxiliary, First United Methodist Church in Oregon City and active in ceramic groups in the local area. She was united in marriage to Henry Tschopp in July of 1927.

She is survived by her husband, Henry; three daughters, Hazel Lee Bernert of Portland, Celia L. Knowles of Milwaukie and Gayle L. Scheer of Gladstone; and nine grandchildren.

The family requests those wishing to make donations in the name of the deceased be made to the Oregon Heart Association.

All funeral arrangements are being handled by Holman, Hankins, Bower and Waud.
