MINNEAPOLIS - Mrs. Josephine Smola Sponer, 79, died Sunday at her home near Ada, where the family has lived since moving from near the Bohemian Hall 22 years ago. She was born in Czechoslovakia January 20, 1866, and came to Pittsburgh, PA, at the age of 18. In 1885 she married Andrew Srna, who died three years later. Her marriage to Mr. Sponer, who died last June, took place in 1890. She has a son, Frank Srna, at Barnard, and a daughter, Mrs. Josephine Boucek, at Glasco. Three sisters live in Pittsburgh. The body will be taken to the family home for a rosary service tonight at 8 o'clock. Mass will be sung Wednesday morning at 10 at the Church of the Immaculate Conception here, Rev. Thomas J. Lonergan in charge. Burial will be in the Bohemian cemetery.
