George Garrett, a well-known and prosperous farmer living near Mentor, died Sunday June 5th, 1921, after a short illness of only a few hours from acute indigestion. He was born in Greene County in 1878. He was married to Miss Mary Stout to which union six children were born, two sons and four daughters. His wife, two brothers and one sister also survive him. He had long been a faithful member of the Hopedale Baptist church.
