Mr. Graham began as a patrol officer in 1965, was assigned as a detective in 1970, moving up to detective sergeant in 1985. He was a patrol captain for a brief time in 1993, and served as a detective captain for his last year with the department. In early 1996, Mr. Graham retired from the Greeneville Police Department as a detective captain after 30 years of service.
Mr. Graham was of the Methodist tradition of faith.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Fraternal Order of Police, and the Masons.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Jim and Nellie Graham, his first wife Shelby Hensley Graham, and a sister: Kathy Graham.
