NOTE: The Veazay spelling seen nowhere else. His first record in 1643 (Winthrop's journal, declaring William a freeman) showed a "sound-it-out" spelling of Phese (the final E pronounced, as Germans will do, so not silent as in English; English-German confusion over letters used to begin the name). This is the second gravepage of 2, due to high variability in spellings. The older page (2009) shows Vesey.
