Dora McArthur Harris, 91, died April 3, 2004, at North Big Horn Hospital in Lovell. She was born January, 26, 1913, in St. Anthony, Idaho, to Daniel and Edna Allen McArthur. She came to Lovell in 1936 and married Ethan Harris in 1938.

Dora is survived by her sons, Gary (Dede) Harris of Lovell and Kay (Hedy) Harris of Flora Vista, N.M.; her daughter, Della (Marty) Ross of Mesa, Ariz.; grandchildren Lori, Dana and Travis Ross, Lisa Kellogg, Linda Gallagher, Jay, Ron, Rex and David Harris; great-grandchildren Luke Kellogg, Justin Cude, Michael and Mark Harris, Kevin Books, Jason and Michelle Harris; two brothers, Lemoin and Howard McArthur; and one sister, Clara Eaton.

Dora was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ethan, brothers Rulon, Allen and Grant McArthur and a sister, Lilet Karner.

Dora was a life-long member of the LDS Church. She served in the primary, Sunday school, Mia, Relief Society and Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She loved sewing, quilting and crocheting with yarn. She compiled many family histories and genealogy work. She liked to fish and gardened every year until the age of 90. For 12 years she worked at the Lovell nursing home. Her joy was her family and serving others.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 8, 2004, a 2 p.m. at the LDS Stake Center in Lovell. Burial will be in the Lovell Cemetery. Haskell Funeral Home in Lovell is in charge of arrangements.
