A former teacher in the Atlanta High School and an active member in the Baptist Church, Mrs. Durham was well known in this section. She is survived by her husband and one son, Charles B.; three sisters, Mrs. Alene Foret, Mrs. L. J. Vessier, and Mrs. John Spindell of Bunkie and three brothers, E. H. Ayraud of Bunkie, Frank Ayraud of New Orleans and Sam Ayraud of Michigan.
Last rites were for the deceased were held at the Sardis Baptist Church Sunday afternoon with Rev. B. C. Land, pastor of the Winnfield Baptist Church officiating.
Active pallbearers were Ed Ayraud and Frank Ayraud, Joe, Nathan, and Clarence Durham.
