She was born Sunday, October 14, 1917, in Troy the daughter of Herman Schulte and Katherine (Amen) Schulte who both preceded her in death.
She married K. O. Barley on October 23rd, 1937. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by a son: Kenneth (Pam) Barley of Sainte Genevieve; a daughter: Barbara (Perry) Fairfax of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; four grandchildren: Scott and Bryan Barley, Ken and Brett Fairfax; nine great grandchildren Alexis, Macy, Bryce, Brandon and Blake Barley; Lauren, Conner, Hunter Grace and Madison Fairfax.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Herman, Robert and Alvin Schulte and a sister: Dorothy Thompson
She was a charter member of the Ste. Genevieve Women's Club Circle at First Presbyterian Church
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, July 10th at the Basler Funeral Home.
A funeral for 91-year-old Margaret (Schulte) Barley of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 11th at the First Presbyterian Church.
Lorraine Stange and the Rev. Junie Ewing will officiate.
Burial will be at Crestlawn Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve.
