"He was born Oct 5, 1940 in Oakland City, IN, to Arte and Gladys (Blount) Aldridge. Jack was a retired coal miner and member of the United Mine Workers of America. He enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening, squirrel and coon hunting, and hunting for mushrooms. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia (Seifrig) Aldridge June 14, 1967, and one sister Rosalee Travagiakis."
"Surviving are three sons ...; two daughters ... ; four brothers, ...; one sister ...; 12 grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren."
"Funeral services were at 10 am Monday, Aug. 20, 2007 at Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with Rev. Terry Beadles officiating. Burial was in Cup Creek Cemetery. Visitation was from 2 to 8 pm Sunday at the funeral home."
