LEAGY - On the 4th of April, near Broadway, Rockingham Co., Va. of the infirmities of old age, Sister Anna Keagy. aged 84 years, 4 months and 13 days. She was buried on the 7th at Wampler's grave yard. Funeral services by Abraham Shank, from 2 Cor. 4 14-16. She was a member of the Mennonite Church about sixty years. She was born in Shenandoah Co., a. and moved to Rockingham Co., thirty years ago. She and her sister Magdalena lived together for nearly 33 years but took her daily walk in the yard on the day on which she died, but had be be helped into the house and died a few hours later.
This languishing head is at rest, its thinking and aching are o'er. This calm, immovable breast, is heaved by affliction no more. This heart is no longer the seat of trouble and torturing pain; it ceases to flutter and beat - it never shall flutter again.
