Dorothy L. Amback of Lakeland, Fla., a homemaker, died Tuesday, Feb 15, 2000, at the Lakeland Regional Medical Ctr. in Lakeland, Fla. She was 82 years of age. The daughter of the late Wilbert S. and Kate L. Walter Lusk, she was born Oct 29, 1917, in Binghamton. She was the widow of Reginald J. Amback who died Nov 19, 1994.
Mrs. Amback was a 65-year member and past District Deputy of Beulah Rebekah Lodge #115 in Binghamton, and a member of Otsenengo Chapter #14, Order of the Eastern Star, in
Binghamton. She is survived by a step-daughter. and her husband, June A. and Donald Smith of Sherburne; a grandson; and several nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and a sister.
Services were held at the Harris Funeral Home in Roscoe with the Rev. Bridgette LeConey officiating. Burial in the Riverview Cemetery.
