Mrs. Audrey Foster James, age 77, of Winnfield died Friday July 16, 2004. Mrs. James retired in 1990 from The Store. She was a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church and was once an avid basketball player.
She was preceded in death by her husband Huey James; son, Steve James, and daughter, Marsha Canerday.
Funeral services for Audrey Foster James were at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 18, 2004 at Southern Funeral Home Chapel, Winnfield with Bro. Johnny Holyfield officiating. Burial followed at the Sardis Cemetery in Winnfield LA under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.
Survivors are son Marlon C. James of Calvin; grandchildren Brandon James, Winnfield; Richard James, Dodson; Shane Canerday, Calvin; Christa LaBorde, Hessmer; Tara Guiliott, Hessmer; and six great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Nelson James, J.J. Holyfield, Tommy Hooks, Philip James, Buddy Roberts, and James Brady.
