~ Dolly Jaynes Obituary ~

Former Winlock resident Dolly R. Jaynes, 76, entered the gates of Heaven Oct. 18, 2008.

She was born Oct. 24, 1931, in Beattyville, Ky., and spent most of her life in Winlock. She moved to the Northwest Continuum Care Center in 2004.

Dolly was a homemaker and a member of Castle Rock First Baptist Church. In her younger years she enjoyed singing at her church. She loved her family.

On Sept. 14, 1948, she married Roy "Bud" Jaynes in Troy, Mich. He preceded her in death in February 1997. Also preceding her were a daughter, Loraine, three brothers and four sisters.

Dolly is survived by a son, Joseph Jaynes; a daughter, Brenda Jaynes; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Little Falls Cemetery in Vader with Pastor Mike Lerma officiating. A reception will follow at the Castle Rock Baptist Church.

Arrangements are by Cattermole Funeral Home.
