Mrs. Arthur Johnson
Mrs. Phoebe May Harr Johnson, 80, of Ligonier R.D. 1 died Sunday in Latrobe Area Hospital.
He was born Oct. 4, 1894, in Latrobe, the daughter of George and Sarah Marks Harr.
She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Darlington, life member of the church choir, life member of the Women's Lutheran Church Aids and member of VFW Auxiliary, Ladies Auxiliary of the Fire Department.
She was preceded in death by one son, Chester, and one daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Wadsworth.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur Johnson; six children, Lloyd C. of Ligonier R.D. 2, Arthur H. of Fayettesville, N.C., Mrs. Richard (Ruth) Bates of Ligonier R.D. 1, Mrs. Carl (Lois) Shick of Latrobe, Donald D. of Atlanta, Ga., and Wayne R. of Jeannette, and one sister, Mrs. Edward Marie Johnson of Ligonier.
Family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Owen Wolford Funeral Home, Ligonier.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Darlington, with the Rev. Herbert Brant officiating.
Interment will follow in Ligonier Valley Cemetery.
