Daughter of the late Ira A. and Lula B. Bertsch Drummond, she attended Maple Valley School in Dennis, KS, before moving to Liberal in 1948. She was a member of Faith Tabernacle in Liberal. She married Ronald Frederick Easley on Augustt 3, 1941, in Dennis. He died on December 22, 1982. She was survived by one son, Jerry Easley; three daughters, JoAnn Arnold, Verna right and Marie Talley; two brothers, John Drummond and Frank Drummond; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters and one granddaughter. Her funeral was held July 30, 2009, at Faith Tabernacle in Liberal with The Rev. Rex Petty officiating.
