CETENARIAN DIES
Solomon Firestone, who attained his ambition of living to be 100 years old on Sept. 21, died Monday p.m. at the home of his son and daughter-in-law; Mr. and Mrs. Luther Z. Firestone, in Chester Township.
Wayne County's only centenarian had been ill since his birthday, and grew gradually weaker. He passed away peacefully as the day was coming to a close in the community where his full century of life had been lived.
Mr. Firestone was born Sept. 21, 1843, in Chester Township and had lived in that township all his life.
Funeral was held at New Pittsburg, Wednesday.
