Mr. Straub worked in quality control at the Sauder Custom Fabrication Co. in Emporia. He also served in the Army from 1962 to 1964.
He was born Jan. 9, 1939, in Wamego, the son of Otto John and Arlene Kathryn Immenschuh Straub.
Mr. Straub was a member of Aerie No. 2587 of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Emporia.
He was married to Jacquelyn Campbell on June 3, 1967, at Madison. They were divorced. He later was married to Marsha Ann Hazlett Miller on Dec. 3, 1995, in Emporia. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Stephanie Michelle Straub, Baldwin City; a son, Clifford Lloyd Straub, Overland Park; a stepdaughter, Joni Kae Rubottom, Allen; a stepson, Michael Jason Miller, Fredonia; four brothers, Arthur Henry Straub, Knotts Island, N.C., Anthony Joseph Straub, Otto Carl Straub and Albinus "Al" Joseph Straub, all of Clay Center; and two sisters, LoRene Marie Wille, Manhattan, and Dorothy Mary Lyons, Blue Springs, Mo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home in Emporia.
Burial will be at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Emporia.
The casket will remain closed.
