95, formerly of Old Sardis Pike, May's Lick passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Robertson County Health Care in Mt. Olivet. She was a native of Robertson County and was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church. She was a lifetime member of the Farmerettes Homemakers Club and a volunteer for Tri-County We Care Mission in Mt. Olivet. Survivors include a granddaughter, Christine Bailey and a daughter-in-law Patricia Bailey and a sister Pearl Day all of Maysville. She was preceded in death by her husband Omar T. Bailey on Dec. 5, 1969 and a son Nelson Bailey on Dec. 11, 1996. Also seven brothers and four sisters preceded her in death. Services 1 P.M. Friday, April 24, 2009 at Palmer Funeral Home with Dr. Michael Rice officiating. Interment will follow in the Shannon Cemetery. Visitation Noon until service time April 24th. Memorials suggested to Sardis United Methodist Church.
