Seven Springs - Edward Rodolph Adams, 84, of Seven Springs, died Monday, August 3, 2009. Rodolph was born August 15, 1924 in Wayne County to the late Lonnie Edward Adams and Julie Kornegay Adams. A longtime farmer and merchant, Rodolph was a former member of the Wayne County ABC Board and presently a member of the Seven Springs Town Council.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. from Rouse Funeral Home with Rev. Phyllis Vail officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery.
Mr. Adams is survived by his wife of sixty six years, Ola Mae Moye Adams; two sons, Eddy Adams of Clayton and Billy Adams of Seven Springs; sister, Mae Adams Ivey of La Grange; four grandchildren, Patrick Adams and wife, April of Apex, Sierra Adams of Lenoir, Jordan Adams of Lenoir and Chelsee Adams of Statesville; and a daughter-in-law, Gaye Adams.
