Emil was born June 12, 1891 in Ridgeville Township Henry County Ohio. He was the son of Henrich Dehnke and Mary Rosebrok Dehnke. He marreid Erna Thielman on November 28 1918. They farmed their entire married life in Ridgeville Township. His wife proceded him in death on May 7, 1958. Mr. Dehnke was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church Ridgeville Corners, where he had served as an elder and deacon of the church. They had 6 children,Helen, Erma, Kathryn, Henry, Marie and Kenneth.
