Clarence S. Baskett, 76, of 6201 Routt Road, died Monday at Suburban Hospital. He was a native of Shelby County, a retired employee of Dairyman's Inc. and a member of Jeffersontown United Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge 218, and a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, the former Julia Carrithers; a daughter, Mrs. Clare Hope Wyatt; three brothers, Lee Alvin and Hardin Baskett; and two grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Foreman Funeral Home, 10600 Taylorsville Road, Jeffersontown, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation at the funeral home will be after 2 p.m. Tuesday. The family request that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the organ fund at Jeffersontown United Methodist Church.
