MRS. D. J. EVANS
Ida, LA., Jan 21 (Special).---Funeral Services for Mrs. D. J. Evans, 94, were held at 4 p. m. Sunday in the Bethsaida Baptist church the Rev. John M. Wynn, of Shreveport, officiating. Burial was in the Bethsaida cemetery under the direction of the Roseneath funeral home. Mrs. Evans had 221 descendants. She was the mother of 12 children, two of whom survive. The surviving relatives are one daughter, Mrs. Ira Hartman, with whom Mrs. Evans made her home at the time of her death, and one son, A. D. Evans, Sr. of Gilliam; 56 grandchildren; 125 great-grandchildren; 36 great-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-great- grandchildren.
