William M. Green passes Tues; Funeral Today
William Marshall Green 76 passed away early Tuesday morning at his home in Madisonville.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eliza Gunter Green, four daughters: Mrs. Mary Etta Frederick of Los Angeles, Ca, Mrs. Vivian Horner of Knoxville, Tn, Mrs. Emory Self of Chicago; two sons: Claude Green of Oak Ridge, Tn and Sgt. Charles Eugene Green of Knoxville. Four sisters, Mra. A.F. Prince of Sweetwater, Mrs. Fred Gunter of N.C., Miss Nancy Green of Harlan, Ky and Mrs. Effie Myers of Bryson City, NC and one brother Jess Green of Bristol, Tn.
Funeral services are being held at 2 p.m. today (Thurs.) at the Ball Play Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Church Cem.
He married Eliza Gunter 10/29/1905 Graham Co., NC.
