Lois McCarty Baker Cummins, 88, a homemaker, passed from this life into the arms of her Heavenly Father Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Cotten-Bratton Funeral Chapel, Weatherford. Interment: Long Creek Cemetery, Hood County. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Cotten-Bratton Funeral Chapel.
Lois, an identical twin, was born Feb. 26, 1921, in Brazos Point to James and Jamie McCarty. She lived in Weatherford most of her life and was a member of Eastside Church of Christ.
Kathy and Lennie want to especially thank the Veranda Place in Weatherford and Kindred Hospital SW in Fort Worth for their loving and compassionate care of our Mother and Nannie.
Lois was preceded in death by her husbands, J.D. Baker Jr. and Glenn Cummins; her grandson, Thomas David Hawkins; and 13 brothers and sisters.
Survivors: Daughter, Lennie Bach; granddaughter, Kathy Hawkins Holcomb and Kenneth; great-grandchildren, Jennifer Hooper and Randall, Stephen Brown; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
