Isaac Lewis married Hannah Hallett on 21 March 1705 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts; the marriage was performed by Cotton Mather.

Children of Isaac Lewis and Hannah Hallett:
1. Isaac, 1 Jul 1707
2. John, 10 Jan 1709
3. Hannah, 19 Oct 1710
4. William, 31 Jan 1712/13
5. Abijah, 9 Sep 1717
6. Mary, 9 Oct 1719
7. Nathan, 6 Dec 1721
8. Joseph, 11 Jan 1723

This Isaac Lewis (1683-1763) was the son of Isaac Lewis (1657-1691) and Mary Davis (1663-1744). His father, Isaac Lewis (Sr) was the son of John Lewis and Mary Browne of Malden, MA ; he was not the son of William & Amey Lewis of Lynne, MA. After his father Isaac Sr died, his mother Mary Davis remarried Thomas Pratt. Mr. Pratt became the administrator of the estate of Mary's first husband Isaac Lewis. Thomas Pratt, administrator of the estate of Isaac Lewis, is mentioned in documents settling the estate of Isaac Sr's father, John Lewis, in which the name of his father and siblings appear. This firmly establishes Isaac's parents as John and Mary Lewis of Malden, MA. Isaac Lewis (Sr) is buried in the Bell Rock Cemetery in Malden. His stone shows his death in 1691, aged 34 years.

Therefore, the "Five Generation Stone" has errors in the first and second generation. William and Amey Lewis did have a son Isaac born in 15 Apr 1644 in Lynn, MA, however, their son Isaac was not the wife of Mary Davis nor the father of the Isaac Lewis, Jr shown in generation #3. There appears to be a 6 Apr 1693 death record for an Isaac Lewis in Boston, MA. This may be the death record of William and Amey's son Isaac who coincidently died two years to the day after Isaac Lewis of Malden, MA or it could be a transcription error of the death of Isaac Lewis of Malden, MA, which actually occurred two years earlier. Nothing else is definitively known of the Isaac Lewis born 1644.
