Graveside services for Eva G. Smith, 91, Plainfield, formerly of Fort Wayne, will be Tuesday, September 20 at 1 p.m. in Lindenwood Cemetery Chapel, Fort Wayne, with Rev LaVern Sandy officiating. Hall-Baker-Litke Funeral Home, Plainfield, was in charge of arrangements and calling. The daughter of Christian and Esther Cline Grass, she was born January 19, 1897 in Marshall County. She married Howard C. Smith, who preceded her in death in 1972. Mrs. Smith died Saturday, September 17 in Autumn Care of Clarks Creek, Plainfield. Surviving are daughter, Zoe Imhausen, Clayton; son, Bruce P. Smith, Tallahassee, Florida; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A son, Eric H. Smith, preceded his mother in death.
