Had Passed Four Score
After Years of Feeble Health John Aby Passed Away Sunday Morning.
John Aby, who has been in very feeble health for a number of years, died Sunday morning at 2 o'clock, and was buried from the home of his daughter, Mrs. J.C. Elliott, this morning at 11 o'clock.
Mr. Aby was eighty-three years, seven months and twenty-one days old, and was born in Franklin county, Pennsylvania. He leaves six children, Mrs. J.C. Elliott and Miss Jennie Aby of this city, Mrs. Shivers, of Lincoln, Neb., one son in California, one in Nebraska and a daughter in Illinois.
Mr. Aby was quite well known here before his health failed him, but for several years he has been in a very feeble condition and got about but little. His death came doubly hard on his family at this time, as Mrs. Elliott is just recovering from a recent operation.
The funeral services were conducted by Dr. H. Bushnell and Dr. T.J.H. Taggart and burial was in the Pleasant Hill cemetery.
