DOMENICO, PETER, 96, of Hammonton, died Thursday at his residence. Born in Italy he lived in Hammonton for 91 years. Uncle Pete was a clothing cutter for Burlington Coat Factory. He was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union; St. Joseph's Holy Name Society; South Jersey Beagle Club and the Hammonton Senior Citizens. He was very proud to become a US Citizen in 1939.
Uncle Pete raised and trained beagles for many years and earned many trophies and awards. He and Aunt Blanche liked to take trips and often took his grand nieces and grand childern with them.
Uncle Pete was survived by: his son Charles A. "Chubby" Domenico and his wife of Hammonton, his nieces and nephew that he raised: Anna Brigandi, Josephine Mazza and Joseph Domenico all of Hammonton; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Hammonton.
