Funeral services for William Janoushek, 63, of 626 Ninth Ave. S., Nampa, Ida., who died Mon., Oct. 4, 1971, at a Nampa hospital following an extended illness, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Alsip Funeral chapel.
The Rev. Ralph Waud, pastor of the Boise Baptist Temple Church, will officiate. Interment will follow at the Kuna Cemetery.
Mr. Janoushek, was born April 26, 1908, at Oberlin, Kansas. He was reared in Kansas, and was married to Wanda Ricks on June 10, 1938, at Gooding, Idaho. The family came to Nampa in 1940, and continued to make their home here since then. He had worked as a truck driver, and had also done farm work in this area, for a number of years.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Wanda Janoushek, of Nampa; by four sons, James Oliver Durfee, of Vale, Ore., William James Janoushek, of Burns, Ore., Richard Dwayne Janoushek and Jackie LeRoy Janoushek, both of Nampa; three daughters, Betty JoAnn Martin, of Nampa, Virginia Lee Mott, of Boise, and Margaret Lucille Northrop, of Nampa; by four brothers, Adolph Janoushek, of Colo., Edward Janoushek, of Portland, Ore., Emil Janoushek, and Alvin Janoushek, both of Mountain Home, Ida.; by five sisters, Ellen VanDorn, of Meridian, Ida., Mable Thruston, of Colo. Springs, Colo., Viola Grove, of Colo. Springs, Colo., Katherine Walton, of Richmond, Calif., and Edns Allen, of Boulder Creek, Calif.; and by 20 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and several grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Salvation Army or flowers may be sent.
