PRINCETON, Ky.--Services for Loyd Holt, 82, of Princeton were Monday at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton. The Revs. Roger O'Bryan and Roger Felker officiated, with burial in Eddy Creek Church Cemetery in Caldwell County.
Mr. Holt died at 10:30 p.m. Friday at Caldwell County Hospital.
Mr. Holt was a heavy-equipment operator and farmer. He was a member of Clinton Masonic Lodge 82 in Princeton and Eddy Creek Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Dorothy Dycus Holt; two sons, Jerry Holt and Terry Holt, both of Caldwell County; a daughter, Dottie Capps of Caldwell County; three brothers, Paul Holt and Will Holt, both of Lyon County, and Harold Holt of Livingston County; a sister, Emma Johnson of Lyon County; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents were Ules and Janie Parrent Holt.
