Mrs. Abbie Dunn, widow of Richard Dunn and well known in the Stark, Lawn Ridge and Princeville communities passed away Saturday, October 29, in St. Francis hospital in Peoria following a short illness.

She was born May 9, 1864, the daughter of Prescott and Eunice Hurd Blood, who pioneered to Illinois from New Hampshire. March 1, 1887 she was united in marriage to Richard Dunn and they settled on a farm near Stark.

In her early days she worked in the Lawn Ridge community and was active in the Stark Congregational church.

For the past 30 years she lived in Princeville and Peoria. She was always interested in the Princeville activities and was a loyal member of the Princeville Presbyterian church.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Letha DeBord, and a son, Prescott, of Salt Lake City, Utah; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Ruby L. Blanchard.Memorial service were held from the Bouton Memorial home with Rev. Arnold Diazell officiating and Mrs. Franchon Hall as organist.

She was laid to rest in the Lawn Ridge cemetery.

Pallbearers were Thad Sheeler, Bryon Wear, William Hofer, Donald Burdick, Sylvester Shane and Gilbert Adams.
