Graveside services for Sadie G. Zittle, 96, Nampa, who died Friday, Oct. 18, in a Nampa nursing home, will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday at the Kohlerlawn Cemetery, Nampa, with the Rev. Joseph Housh, pastor of the Nampa First United Methodist Church, officiating. Services are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
Mrs. Zittle was born July 3, 1889, in Springville, Utah, to John and Emily Groesbeck. At an early age, she moved with her family to Oregon by covered wagon where she was reared and educated. She married Robert Evans April e, 1908, in Oregon. They moved to Nampa in 1910 where they farmed.
Mr. Evans died in 1934. She married George Zittle in Caldwell in 1938. They farmed in Marsing until 1950 when they moved to Nampa and continued to farm. Mr. Zittle died in 1961. Mrs. Zittle continued living in Nampa until her death. She was a member of the Nampa First United Methodist Church and the Royal Neighbors of America.
She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Evans of Greensboro, N.C., and Cecil Evans of Nampa; one sister, Della Ricker of Baker, Ore.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, three sons, three brothers and one sister.
