Mr. Elmer Bang, age 71, of Gautier, MS., died Thursday, February 1, 2007, in Gautier.
Mr. Bang was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County. He retired from Tri City Iron and Metal and was a self-employed pulpwood harvester.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Hazel Ely Bang of Gautier, MS., one daughter, Vicky (Henry) Griffith of Gautier, MS., three sons, Lester Bang, Clifton Bang and girlfriend, Betty, all of Vancleave, and James (Linda) Bang, of D'Iberville, MS., nephew, Watson Bang, Jr., eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Sunday, February 4, 2007, from 12 Noon - 2 PM, with a 2 PM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Vancleave Holiness Cemetery.
Mr. Bang was a loving husband and father and will be missed by all who knew him.
