J. E. BOBBITT'S RITES WEDNESDAY
Funeral services for J. E. Bobbitt, 67, will be held at the Ben Wheeler Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday with burial in the Edom Cemetery. The Rev. Royce Robb, pastor, will officiate.
He died at his home at 11:15 p.m. Monday, following a short illness. He was retired aircraft worker from Ben Franklin.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ella James Babbitt of Ben Franklin; three daughters, Mrs. Kathleen Mahoney of San Pablo, Calif., Mrs. Neta Wakefield of Arlington, Mrs. Magdelene Long of Tyler; four brothers, Marshall, Herbert, Manuel, all of Dallas, and Marvin of Baytown; two sisters, Mrs. Lila Moore, Mrs. Alice Haynes, both of Ron Wheeler; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers include Earl Nixon, Bob Walker, Leroy Walker, J. E. Moounds, Verner Cole and Henry Slaughter.
