George Ollie Jones, 85, Wayne County, died Saturday at Providence Hospital in Mobile, Ala. following a lengthy illness.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. today from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Waynesboro with burial in the church cemetery. The Revs. Raymond Bishop and Gerald Odom will officiate.

He is survived by three sons, O. R. Jones, Laurel, Elgin Jones and Cecil L. Jones, both of Mobile, Ala.; five daughter, Mrs. Lucille Wilkins and Mrs. Kathleen Adamson, both of Mobile, Ala., Mrs. Sue Comer, Jasper, Ala., Mrs. Eva Sanders, Columbia, Ca., and Mrs. Ruth Yarber. Laurel; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Walters and Mrs. Mae Henry, both of Laurel; 22 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Freeman Funeral Home of Waynesboro is in charge of arrangements.
