Mrs. George Ollie (Ida Corinne) Jones, 72, Rt. 6, Laurel, died Monday in a Laurel hospital. She was born March 20, 1900 in Wayne County, and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Funeral services will he held 3 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Revs. Мас Parker, Jimmy Holder and Ron Aaronson will officiate. The body will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Memory Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include five daughters: Mrs. Ida L. Wilkins, Mrs. Alice K. Adamson, both of Prichard, Ala.; Mrs. Mary Ruth Yarber, Laurel; Mrs. Minnie S. Comer. Jasper. Ala.; Mrs. Eva L. Marsh, Columbus, Ga.; three sons: Ollie Jones of Laurel; Albert F. Jones, Prichard. Ala.; Cecil L. Jones, Mobile, Ala.; 22 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Velma Rogers, Sandersville; and five brothers; Bennie Walters, Howard Walters, both of Rt. 6. Laurel; Clayton Walters, Clarence Walters, both of Laurel; and 'Julian Walters, Biloxi.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
