Mother of William Chenault Argo d 1918; wife of William K Argo.

Son Robert died in 1920 of Spanish Influenza, the same disease that took son William C in 1918. The death of Belle in March 1922 extinguished the family.

She was born near Danville Kentucky, daughter of Professor and Mrs William Chenault.

An aged aunt of her husband's, Aunt Nancy Spillman, died shortly before her as well at the age of 99. She took up the duties of her husband at the School of the Deaf and Dumb but it was said that when she died 11 months later it was of a broken heart.
