Born March 6, 1915, in Conewago Township, she was the daughter of the late Abraham and Caroline (Hake) Anderson.
Caroline worked for many years at cigar factories in Red Lion and West York. She loved to cook and was proud of her Pennsylvania Dutch cooking skills, especially her pies for which she was well known. In addition, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and needlework. She took pleasure in backyard gardening and sharing her produce with others. She was always there for anyone who needed her.
She was preceded in death by eight brothers, Theodore, Robert, Park, Jim, Earl, Warren, Chalfont, and Howard; and four sisters, Tressie Fink, Lottie Moul, Laura Anthony, and Nettie Conley. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
