Gertrude I. Hendricks, 86 of Decatur died Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Adams Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 8, 1926 in Adams County to the late Lawrence and Marie (Andrews) Banning. On August 21, 1943 she married Richard E. Hendricks. He preceded her in death on June 3, 1985.
Gertrude was a homemaker.
She is survived by two granddaughters, Brandi (Keith) Martin of Leo and Amanda Hendricks of Ft Wayne; two great grandchildren Jordan and Jared Martin and a sister Kathleen Duff of Ft Wayne. Gertrude was also preceded in death by her son Alan L. Hendricks and brother Herb Banning.
There will be NO SERVICES.
