Leocadia Sanczawa , 82, of 142 W. Dauenhauer St., East Syracuse, died Thursday. Born in Buffalo, she lived in East Syracuse 50 years. She was a communicant of St. Matthew's Church and a volunteer at its school. Her husband, Joseph, died in 1986.
Survivors: A son, Fred of East Syracuse; four sisters, Mary Wyzykowski, Helen Sacilowski, Adele Matuszak and Florence Bartella, all of Buffalo; a brother, Marion Miszkalski of Buffalo. Services: 8:30 a.m. Monday at Delaney & Greabell Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in St. Matthew's Church. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, Minoa. Calling hours, 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 241 Kinne St., East Syracuse. Contributions: St. Matthew's Church Food Pantry, 229 W. Yates St., East Syracuse 13057.
