GARNER, L.J. 63, of Manchester, Tennessee died Thursday, April 13, 2000 following a brief illness at his residence. A native of Franklin County, Tennessee he was the son of the late Lindsey Jones Garner and Jennie Clark Garner. He was an insurance agent for American General and was a member of the Pentecostal Church. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Franklin County. He is survived by his wife, Judy Garner, Manchester; five sons, Lindsey, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Ernest, Lawrenceburg, Dean, Manchester, Mickey, Manchester, Eddy, Manchester; four sisters, Edna Henley, Franklin County, Myra Rose, Franklin County, Evonne Smith, Franklin County, Mildred Chambers, Georgia; four granddaughters and one grandson. Funeral services were held Sunday, April 16, 2000 at Coffee County Funeral Chapel Sister Kathy Stamey officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to the Hospice. Coffee County Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
