Naomi Ellen McFarland,
76, a resident of Somerset, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at Britthaven Nursing Home in Somerset. She was born January 7, 1931 to the late Denton Randall and Mary Melody Adams Randall. She was a seamstress employed at Palm Beach for over 16 years and was active in childcare at her home. Naomi attended Southside Church of God where she was very active until her illness. She loved gardening and flowers and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. They were her life.
Survivors include one child, Debbie Stenberg (& Paul), Salvisa, Kentucky; two brothers, Jack Dobkins and John Randall, both of Somerset; two sisters, Marlene Phelps and Imogene Thomason, both of Cincinnati, Ohio; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Denton and Mary Melody; two grandchildren, Christopher Randall and Amanda Marie Randall; one great granddaughter, McKenzie Randall; five brothers, Ivan, Odell, Omar, Fred Randall, and one in infancy; also an infant sister.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am., Saturday morning, June 9, 2007 at Lange & New Bros. Family Funeral Home. Musical selections include "Down By The River", "Amazing Grace", and "Go Rest High On That Mountain". Burial will be in the Acorn Cemetery. Lange & New Bros. A visitation for friends will begin at 5:00 PM. Friday evening at Lange & New Bros. Family Funeral Home. Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
