Mrs. Amanda Blickenstaff Cripe, 79, died Sunday evening at the home of her adopted daughter, Mrs. Edgar Oaks, route 4, Delphi.
Born at Edna Mills on April 6, 1868, she was the daughter of David and Susie (Wise) Blickenstaff. Her husband, Jesse A., Cripe, died in 1921. She was a member of the Church Of the Brethren.
Surviving in addition to Mrs.; Oaks are a granddaughter, Rosemary Oaks; two brothers, Nelson and Robert Blickenstaff of Lafayette and a sister, Mrs. Oscar Sink of South Whitley.
Funeral rites were conducted Wednesday afternoon from Fairview Church of the Brethren with the Rev. John Root officiating. Burial was in the Prymont cemetery. Grimm funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
