Funeral services for Marie Cash McKinnie, 89, of Marion held June 11, 2018 at Dean Baptist Church. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery near Linville under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.
Mrs. McKinnie went to her heavenly home on June 9, 2018. Marie was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Mrs. McKinnie’s children and grandchildren were very important to her and she loved them very much.
Mrs. McKinnie was preceded in death by her husband, T. Boy McKinnie; parents, Charlie & Myrtle Nolan Cash; son, Stevie McKinnie; daughter, Diane McKinnie; granddaughter, Amanda McKinnie; and sister, Bonnie Snell.
Left to cherish her memory are her five sons, Jerry McKinnie & Thelma of Marion, La., Randy McKinnie & Debbie of Sterlington, La., Virgil McKinnie & Sharon of Marion, La., Grady McKinnie & Alice of Marion, La. and Phillip McKinnie & Ruth of Marion, La.; one daughter-in-law, Sissy McKinnie of Sterlington, La.; two brothers, Kenneth Cash & Helen of Marion, La. and Dennis Cash & Sue of Marion, La.; one sister, Mayola Speights of Ball, La.; special friend, Hubert Franklin; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
