Mrs. Chas. Dolby Dies Of Burns In Illinois
Body of Former Wells County Woman Is To Be Returned For Burial.
Relatives living in this city and county received messages this morning informing them of the tragic death of Mrs. Minnie Dolby, wife of Charles Dolby, who died in Lawrenceville, Illinois of burns received in her home Saturday.
The deceased was a former resident of Wells County, and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Day, who live near Keystone. The body is to arrive in Montpelier Tuesday, and will be taken thence to the home of the parents. Funeral plans had not been completed today.
The first message telling of an accident was received Saturday night, relating that Mrs. Dolby was badly burned, and this morning another message came telling that she died Sunday night.

Survivng besides the husband and the parents are four children, all at home in Illinois, and twelve brothers and sisters, namely: Mrs. Ella Kingen, wife of Riley Kingen, Geneva; Mrs. Myrtle Brittenham, Monument, Kansas; Other Day, Earl Day, and Ralph Day, of Eldorado, Kansas; Mrs. Ida Havens, Mrs. Blanche Isler, and Mrs. Grace Morrical, east of Montpelier; Fred Day, of Bluffton, and C.E. Day and Mrs. Maud Buckmaster, of Muncie, Mrs. Alice Miller of Muncie.
The husband is a brother of Lewis Dolby, living near Mt. Zion.
The Charles Dolby family moved to Illinois about five years ago. Previously the resided in Chester township.
