Dr. Gregory Hall, former Milton man and well known scientist at Duke University, died suddenly Sunday, Feb. 19, at Durham, N. C., according to word received here Tuesday by Mrs. J. N. Daland. Death was attributed to heart failure.
Dr. Hall, former head of the biology department at Milton College, had been a member of the Duke University faculty for many years and much of his work was devoted to the national space program.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Deland Hall, 122 Pinecrest Dr., Durham; a son, Dr. Kenneth Hall of Durham, and a daughter, Mrs. Kent Boutwell, Santa Barbara, Calif.
A private interment service will be held at the Milton Cemetery.
