TRAVERSE CITY - Francis Wanageshik, 78, a retired machinist from Traverse City died friday at Munson Medical Center.
A lifelong resident of the Traverse City area, he was employed with Cone Drive Gear for 25 years. He was an avid bowler with the Traverse City Senior Center Blwling League, a retired member of the United Auto Workers and enjoyed playing tennis. he graduated from Northport High School and was a member of the Northport basketball team.
Born Aug 14, 1914 in Northport, He was the son of levi and Marion (Antoine) Wanageshik.
He was survived by two sisters, Josephine Anderson of Northport and Helen Smith of Chicago; and many neices and nephews.
He Was preceeded in death by three sons, Melvin, Lloyd and Francis M. Wanageshik.
