Mervil Mark Hagen:

Mervil Mark Hagen, son of Jim and Bessie Hagen, was born May 29, 1907 in Mercer County, Missouri and died at his home Friday April 19, 1988 at the age of 80 years 11 months. Mervil was the fourth child of ten children being 6 boys and 4 girls. He attended the rural school at Saline, Missouri . He was converted at an early age and was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church.
On December 5, 1928 he was united in marriage to Veta Trembly, daughter of Clark and Lillie Trembly of Decatur County , Iowa. To this union were born 3 children:Athel McIntosh of Lebanon, Missouri; Ovid Hagen of Charlotte, North Carolina; and Danny Hagen of Princeton, Missouri.
Mervil spent most of his life as a farmer in Mercer County , Missouri with the exception of two years when the family went to Washington and Oregon for work in the sugar beets and apple harvests.
Preceding him in death were his parents, brother Cecil on F ebruary 8, 1988, an infant grandson Doran Brant McIntosh, four brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.
Survivors are his widow Veta of the family home; daughter Athel and husband Jim McIntosh and family; Ovid Hagen and wife Michelle and family; son Danny Hagen and wife Brenda and family; sisters Irma Dunn of Peculiar, Missouri & Lois Dunn of Leon; Avis Larson of Mercer, Missouri and husband Lloyd of Princeton Care Center; Faye and Clarence Kindred of Osceola, Iowa; brother Lloyd and Mildred Hagen of Apache Junction, Arizona; Ferril and Annibel Hagen of Trenton, Missouri; Carl and Louise Hagen of Costa Mesa, California; Hubert and Elaine Hagen of Princeton, Missouri; sister-in-law Le[n]ona Hagen of Tuscon, Arizona' eleven grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
