"Bethia was the sixth of eight known children born to Charles Wentowrth and Bethia Fenno of the part of Stoughton, Mass. that became the town of Canton in 1797. She was married in Stoughton on 9 Jan 1752 to Benjamin Gill, a Revolutionary War officer, and the son of Benjamin Gill and Abigail Fisher of Stoughton. She and Benjamin had nine children born from 1752 to 1772."
