Susan Campbell, a native and lifelong resident of Fort Edward, died Wednesday, Dec 26, 1984 in Greenbelt, Maryland. She was 87.
Miss Campbell graduated from the Glens Falls Hospital School of Nursing in 1918 and worked for Dr. Byron Tillotson for more than 30 years before retiring.
She was born Feb. 26, 1897. the daughter of John and Susan Buchanan Campbell. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Fort Edward.
A sister, Mrs. Clifford (Madeline) Butterfield of Hudson Falls, and several nieces and nephews survive.
Services were conducted Saturday, and burial was in Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Bladensburg, Md.
She had one daughter, Patricia Ann, born May 16 1921, adopted by Charles and Caroline Goodrich.
